Marti Gras 2024

For the second year in a row, I had the privilege of joining Philip Renner and the team to plunder hell and populate Heaven at Mardi Gras!

The darkness in that place is tangible at times, but the Light of Christ is never overcome. Every night, we set up for worship and evangelism on the same street corner—right in the heart of Bourbon Street. On the third evening, after hours of worship, I stepped away for a short break. I had only walked a few hundred feet when I was struck by the stark contrast in the spiritual atmosphere.

The time we spent in praise and worship had created what felt like a bubble of God’s presence and peace over the entire area surrounding us! I had forgotten how challenging this place was because God had manifested Himself right there, in the midst of it all!

This this year, we witnessed 827 salvations at Mardi Gras! Our God is greater, and He is on the move! Praise the Lord!
