Bringing the Light of Christ to Burning Man

Wow—what a privilege to join Philip Renner and a team of bold soul-winners at Burning Man!

For those who don’t know, Burning Man is an arts festival in the middle of the Nevada desert, where 80,000 people gather in one of the driest, dustiest, and most remote places I’ve ever been. For one week, it’s a nomadic city of “burners” seeking self-expression, deeper meaning, and spiritual experiences. Honestly, the art and structures looked like something straight out of a Dr. Seuss book—but beyond the impressive displays was a deep darkness and desperation.

It was our joy to brave the elements and bring the Light of Christ into what many would call an impossible mission. We even ministered inside the temple, a place many consider off-limits—but God made a way! Salvations, deliverance, and even some of the temple priests gave their lives to Jesus!

God thrives in the impossible—and we witnessed 633 souls come to Christ!
